SUCCESS STORY! Innovative Heat Treatment provided – Customized Heat treatment solution for the Sulfur Rail Car repair. Key was six way Console that had New Digital Recorder enginnered with a CSA approved Six way console that has ability to utlize 80 volts standard Pads and 40 volt pads.

CHALLENGE

THE Dual House (Protective Hatch) repair was essential for the sulfur cars to maintain product durability and strenght. As a result Heat Treating the Dual house part was mandatory to meet the Railway
saftey standards.
They required a pre-heat that meet the following criteria:
1) Mobile – to move around the repair shop
2) Compact – Easy to store
3) Product CSA, ISO9001, CE – approved and certifed was mandatory
4) Digital Recorder– no paper
5) EASY TO USE
6) Require Ablitu to use both 80 volts standard pads and 40 volt pads
7) COST COMPETITIVE

Our recommendation is to Maximuim 2″ apart. The proximity of pads to each other is also determined by tmeperture needed to be reached and the thickness of the material.
